The Z3 Universe is an alternate world belonging to the Z-Type Multiverse. It was first introduced in Chapter 2: Scarlet Devil Tower.

Description

The Z3 Universe is a Gensokyo affected by the Scarlet Devil Tower, an edifice created to protect the world from the power of the Witch of Scarlet Dreams. Furthermore, the astral magic of the Witch of Scarlet Dreams has given rise to magical girls; its locals reflect a magical girl-themed appearance as a results. Universe details elaborate on the impact of the magic of magical girls in Gensokyo.

One of the parallel universes in the Z-Type Multiverse.

The Z3 Universe has a divergence scale of 3 within the Z-Type Multiverse. It contains some exceptional elements. The Z is short for Zodiac Signs, a set of 12 constellations that form a belt-shaped region in the sky.

Major Points of Divergence:
 - Almost identical to the points of divergence for A6. 
However, beings that could potentially become magical girls tend to follow the same divergence taken by this universe to converge with it.

Major Points of Convergence:
 - This universe hardly ever converges. (Diverges to infinity.)
However, beings that could potentially become monsters tend to forcefully converge with this universe from other universes.
