The Z1 Universe is an alternate world belonging to the Z-Type Multiverse. It was first introduced in Chapter 2: Scarlet Devil Tower.

Description

The Z1 Universe is a Gensokyo affected by the Scarlet Devil Tower, an edifice created to protect the world from the power of the Witch of Scarlet Dreams. After resolving the Lost Word incident afflicting Z1, the Scarlet Devil Tower was repurposed to act as a passage to the masterminds of the Lost Word Incident. Notable characters that belong to this universe include Witch of Scarlet Dreams Marisa Kirisame.

The Z1 Universe has a divergence scale of 1 within the Z-Type Multiverse, making it one of the least divergent. The Z is short for Zodiac Signs, a set of 12 constellations that form a belt-shaped region in the sky.

Major Points of Divergence:
 - Almost identical to the points of divergence for A6.

Major Points of Convergence:
 - This universe hardly ever converges. (Diverges to infinity.)
