The W2 Universe is an alternate world belonging to the W-Type Multiverse. It was first introduced in Chapter 4: Eternal Battlefield Act 5.

Description

The W2 Universe is a version of Gensokyo affected by an aberration of faith affecting the gods in this universe. This has caused divine beings of this universe to be smaller. Universe details further elaborate on the impact of the diminished size of gods and their roles in this universe.

One of the parallel universes in the W-Type Multiverse.

The W2 Universe has a divergence scale of 2 within the W-Type Multiverse. It contains few exceptional elements. The W is short for Whistle Signal, specifically referring to signals made with steam whistles.

Major Points of Divergence:
- Almost identical to the points of divergence for A12.3.
However, there have been multiple irregular divergences before this, greatly altering the history of Gensokyo. The reason why divine beings (mainly beings known as gods) have become small in this universe differs according to the specific parallel instance of this universe. What is constant, however, is that there are always abnormalities in the way faith operates.
