The R2 Universe is an alternate world belonging to the R-Type Multiverse. It was first introduced in Chapter 3: Hakugyoku Arena.

Description

The R2 Universe is a Gensokyo where the Saigyou Ayakashi is in bloom; it is made up of an upper world where the Hakugyouku Arena is located, as well as a lower world where the temperaments of those that are defeated in the Arena float down to before the resolution of the Lost Word incident afflicting R2. Notable characters that belong to this universe include Tiny Ghost Mistress Yuyuko Saigyouji.

The R2 Universe has a divergence scale of 2 within the R-Type Multiverse. It does not contain many exceptional elements. The R is short for Recursive Acronym, an acronym that refers to itself.

Major Points of Divergence:
 - Almost identical to the points of divergence for A7.

Major Points of Convergence:
 - Tends to merge with a very large number of universes. (Convergence tendency.)
