A8 Universe

The A8 Universe is an alternate world belonging to the A-Type Multiverse. It is inspired by the events of Imperishable Night, the 8th installment of the Touhou Project series.

Description

The A8 Universe is an "extended incident" universe: the Eternal Night Incident has never ended. The protagonists' designs are based on their dialogue portraits.

The A8 Universe is the 8th universe within the A-Type Multiverse. Unlike other universes, this number notation does not indicate divergence scale. The meaning of the A symbol is currently unknown.

Etymology

A characteristic unique to the A-Type Multiverse is the addition of a universe-specific epithet after a character's title. This epithet is in brackets to separate it from the title and directly references the Touhou Project game a universe is based on. The A8 Universe's epithets are based on the game's full name, 東方永夜抄　～ Imperishable Night.
